Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Jabber is used across our entire organization. I love it! It's a quick and super easy way to communicate with managers or co-workers if I have a quick question or want to send a quick comment. The best part about this is that it doesn't bog down my email system with these quick little comments or questions. There's no downside. Love it!

It helps me to keep track of who is calling.

I'm not aware of other products like Jabber.

Likelihood to Recommend

Jabber is well suited for sending a quick comment or question to a co-worker. It is not appropriate to utilize for communication that needs to serve as documentation. To my knowledge, there is not a history log in Jabber. Nor am I aware of a way to print from Jabber. Anything that needs to serve as a paper trail should not be sent through Jabber.
