It's being used as the primary requirements management software for processes being implemented across [the] organization. Its primarily being used as a requirements management software for cross-cutting requirements. It's a tool to author, share, review requirements, as well as, ensure the traceability of those. Also, it enables [management of] the test suite for the requirements.

Overall streamlining of processes of requirement collection, [as well as] analysis and management for complex software systems. And to ensure compliance with various regulations and laws of North America, the EU, etc.
It's effective and makes collaboration easier, you can quickly share a requirement for review across various stakeholders. Also, you can track the change history and assign requirements to various ongoing projects.
It's best suited for large distributed teams [that] are moving to an agile process. It enables large and complex system requirements management easier and efficient. Very much suited for SAFE - scaled agile framework implementation.
