Overall Satisfaction with Jama Connect

Pros

  • Live traceability between requirement and test case
  • Real time test execution status
  • Review Center

Cons

  • Export to Word needs extensive formatting. I hope Jama provide better export functionality
  • Jama cloud has some security issues. We decided stay on-premises
  • Jama cloud does not have a capability to stay on a particular release, and have a frequent releases within a year.
  • It would be nice if floating creator license users can select to access as read only or read/write at login time.
  • Test activity is more visible to others
We are trying to achieve creating traceability from requirements to test case for all projects. We do not know if we achieve this because we are not actively measuring this.
It is very effective to everybody to work with one version of documentation

Jama works good if you do not need to generate any word/excel document out of Jama.
