Overall Satisfaction with Jamf Pro

Jamf Pro is being used in a hosted capacity for our organization. The main purpose of implementing Jamf Pro at Rush is to leverage the Jamf healthcare listener, integrate with our messaging interface, and enable more productivity for our care teams.

Pros

  • They listen to your organization's requirements.
  • The support team at all levels is dedicated to helping you succeed.
  • JAMF provides many, many avenues to grow personal and team knowledge by providing classes, training catalogs, and a site called JAMF Nation that brings beginners and admins together.
  • If you have a question or a dream regarding making Jamf Pro work for you Jamf will make it happen.

Cons

  • Following back up on high-priority issues.
  • Sometimes they are very busy and you need to really email and call to get a reply.
  • Sometimes individuals are a little standoffish.
  • Positive - the purchase of Jamf Pro does include many of their additional tools.
  • Compared to other enterprise MDM's which charge for every single component, Jamf will save your budgets in the long haul.
  • As a Negative - if you need a multi-platform MDM and that is a deal breaker it is possible Jamf is not for you.
I have assessed InTune and used VMware Workspace One UEM.

I have mentioned this a few times, if you have an Apple-centered organization then Jamf is a product that supports Apple 100%. They are doing innovative things to help Apple admins get their jobs done and get them done in the best and most productive ways possible.
I have had over my time using Jamf and Jamf Pro so many success stories in not only helping the organizations I worked for using the product but also solving complex problems to enable support productivity. At the center of this is Jamf's unbelievable support team!

Jamf is great for an Apple centered environment and Apple. They have a great team to help you support an organization. Even if you have a multi-product organization environment Jamf does its best to integrate. It is well suited to use straight out of the UI or also from an advanced scripting and API perspective. Jamf Pro UI is very easy and intuitive to use. Jamf Pro supports multi-location organizations.

The only scenario that is not so appropriate is when you are not using an Apple centered organization or do not use Apple products.
