Overall Satisfaction with Jotform

We use forms for both internal staff surveys and forms, as well as for customer questionnaires. We have an enterprise server. We use API integration for forms to export form data and automate processes.
  • API is reliable and quite easy to work with
  • Forms are easy to design with good conditional logic
  • Smart PDF allows population of an imported PDF form so layout retained
  • Developers have ignored basic form features for years
  • Widgets sometimes clunky and no support in getting updated
  • Developers disinterested in supporting widget enhancement, but cannot/will not provide a widget developer to use.
  • Streamlined data collection
  • ROI negatively impacted by repeatedly trying to get Jotform to support product properly
Used years ago, so cannot comment on features.

Yes

Would you buy Jotform again?

No

Have a lot of forms and api integration developed, so cost of switching high, but missing some very basic field (widget) capabilities that just makes forms sub-par and has not seen any development in this basic form functionality in all the years we have used it. I probably would keep looking at alternatives if had time again.
Support on some areas really good, but some basic functionality missing that would cost very little developer time and the team are just disinterested even though 100s of user requests asking for these features. Just get "our developers have more important things to work on". i.e. my interpretation is that "as the customer your needs are not important to Jotform team."
Easy to use and implement, but we have now hit a barrier with the developers lack of engagement or care to continue developing the basic foundation functionality of their product. Basic things like autocomplete addresses cannot be location (country) filtered even though it uses Google Places API that has supported this for years. Autocomplete of addresses is such a commonly used feature in forms and lack of interest in fixing this issue basically shows the developers have no connection with the real world or their customers. 100s of support requests can be googled requesting this ability. Other basic functionality in forms is only getting further behind competitors.
