Overall Satisfaction with JumpTrack

Delivery route planning, delivery confirmation, manifesting, signature capture.
  • moves information back and forth between other ECI products well
  • doesn't require on-prem server
  • work with iOS and Android devices.
  • Not a truck monitoring platform - we have to use separate provider for that
  • Not made to cross-pollinate outside ECI's environment
  • Need to have a working company email for every user and driver.
  • There have been some savings from proof-of -delivery capability in regards to returns.
  • With the ease of moving manifests from DDMS to JumpTrack, there are time savings as well.
The increased visibility comes mainly from our delivery confirmation. we use separate solutions for driver tracking and accountability. in order to use the other visibility features, we would have to buy every driver a company phone and put them on our plan, and it was cheaper to buy GPS tags for the trucks and use a third-party fleet tracker.
The POD management is our primary use for JumpTrack. Not only do we keep and store proof-of-delivery, but pur customers can look it up themselves on our website.

If you are using ECI's other logistics and product management products, JumpTrack is the delivery confimation and rout-planning software for you. Literally, it is the only one. For all that though, it is good at what it does. it will take the manifest and order it in a geographic route that makes sense. Most useful to us, though is the ability of the handhelds to digitally capture a signature of the receiving party and store it so it can be looked at by customer or order number. That's a godsend when some of our customers are not very organized and might otherwise blame us when they lose product. Also, i like that we don't have to use always connected phones for the delivery handhelds. we use Wi-Fi-only devices, and that saves us a ton on our mobile phone plan. we just upload everything at the warehouse and pull everything back when the drivers return. It works very well.
