Overall Satisfaction with JumpTrack

We use JumpTrack for our daily deliveries of mostly office supplies and some furniture. We use it to track and pace our drivers. We use it for signature confirmation for our customers and occasionally photographs of deliveries when necessary. It allows us to quickly route out our drivers each morning and make sure they have a proper package, paper and water counts each day. It also allows us to forecast when a driver will be at a customer's door without even calling the driver.

  • Transferring deliveries from DDMS Plus to JumpTrack doesn't allow for any mistakes. You can only transfer once and if you select the wrong transfer location its all over.
  • I believe adding stops for non customers is difficult. We found a work around but our drivers pickup from our printers, non profits we donate to etc.
  • We often have trouble with JumpTrack not being able to reach the server. It's very frustrating on a busy morning when we can't save package counts etc.
  • We can make more deliveries because our drivers are out the door faster each morning.
  • Proof of delivery that can be emailed with ease makes accounts receivables job easier on disputed deliveries.
  • Knowing where the driver is and having a basis of how quickly a driver moves from location to location assists us with route management and employee management.
Yes, greatly! Not having to interrupt a driver to ask them where they are, when they will be back, or when they will be at stop X is a saving grace for our customer service team. Rewarding our drivers for their efficiency throughout the day has also been an encouraging benefit for our warehouse and delivery team. It also allows us to know who to send which directions.
Yes, there is so much peace of mind knowing that our customer service team can share a POD with a customer in minutes. It is nice for our customers too when they have a large facility and need to know who to track down to find the delivery. Also, the photo feature has served us well when a customer claims they didn't sign for something, and we have a picture of their office with the packages and a time stamp. It's not a common occurrence but it is nice when we have that proof.
Before this, our drivers used Garmin and allowed it to route out their day, but nothing was this advanced with tracking, signatures, integration with DDMS, etc. I can't even believe we went so many years without this feature. I remember searching for other POD apps, etc., but spending a little bit more for fully integrated software was the correct choice for us.

If you are an ECI/DDMS customer and you aren't using this system, I am shocked. It gets our drivers out on the road anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour faster. Except for human error, the system makes everything more effective and efficient for our warehouse team. It allows us to route our drivers and know how many stops they will have before we head home each evening. Our drivers appreciate the heads-up on what to expect the next day. I think the one thing that is a challenge since Covid is many people don't like to sign or touch anyone else's phone. I do wish the signature could be bypassed so that the driver could just type the name in.

3 - One highly trained person does most of our IT work in-house. Anything that is an issue with JumpTrack or any changes made are introduced to the rest of the team or handled by this person.

One user manages our day-end process of route creation and transferring deliveries from DDMS to JumpTrack.
