Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We used to import users manually with a CSV file. Recently, we've implemented the AD Sync process, which makes it much easier. We use groups to target those who require additional information, like those who respond or click links in email, and also to target a department with training when needed.
We send out phishing emails company-wide several times a year and have recently started using KnowBe4's Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment to get a baseline of what we should immediately focus on with training. With phishing campaign results, we can target individuals with specific training modules to improve their awareness.
Pros
- They offer short training videos, which aren't too time consuming, yet still gets a message across.
- The ease of setting up a campaign.
- Being able to create your own phishing templates, so you can include certain industry-specific terms or situations to truly test someone's ability to catch a fake.
Cons
- Additional short training with questions/answers.
- Value in seeing improvements in general security awareness on the dashboard.
- You set-up your phishing or training and let it run—it's easy to do, not time-consuming.

A greater choice is always a good feature in a training product. We've used the posters, training, and video modules, as well as phishing emails, which are often updated to reflect what's in the news now. We've even used some of the newsletter postings.
The reporting feature is well thought out. The risk score and report card are helpful in showing upper management improvements in security awareness. Also, finding the riskiest users so you can focus on their education.
