Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is used by the entire organization. Training courses are given quarterly to address our internal policy requirements to provide security awareness training, client requirements to provide security awareness training and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GLBA, etc.). The built-in reporting from KnowBe4 makes reporting performance against these requirements simple.

Pros

  • Wide variety of training materials, searchable by topic, type and length of material.
  • Being able to programmatically manage and schedule notifications, to both end users and management.
  • Regularly updated materials, keeping content timely and relevant.

Cons

  • Ability to run reports showing historical performance for individual users.
  • The ability to modify a training campaign in-flight.
  • Training has reduced our calculated security risk score down 12 points over the last 12 months.
  • Ongoing training has decreased our phishing probability from 39% baseline to 4-5% on average.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training provided a wider variety of training materials and topics than other vendors. The management capabilities and flexibility in communicating with the trainees were deciding factors. Cost per user was a key contributor to the purchasing decision as well. Reputation and reviews from current customers were outstanding and a deciding point.
Published support materials have resolved about 80% of the questions we have had that required support. When questions had to be escalated to KnowBe4 support, they were answered quickly, thoroughly and followed up on to ensure complete resolution. Our Client Service Manager has been responsive and quick to provide answers or escalate questions. Our CSM has also regularly pointed out new features and functionality that have been helpful.

With a small amount of practice, KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is intuitive and easy to use. The breadth of training materials allows for targeting training at specific functional areas (HR, application development, etc.). The search, specifically being able to identify training by length of time required, makes selecting and planning a campaign much easier.
We provide training to our end users on a quarterly basis. With that volume of training, diversity and updated content is vital. The addition of Popcorn Training materials has been very popular with our end users. End users have actually requested that we provide more of those particular modules. With the ever-changing threat landscape, up-to-date material is crucial for providing the most relevant training.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is a useful tool for keeping staff aware of common threats and tracking policy review/compliance. Best suited for any organization required to provide security awareness training to all employees, to be able to provide diverse training options and produce evidence of compliance. May not be useful in organizations with a small number of employees.
