Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

The Security Awareness Training is being used by the enterprise as a whole as security vulnerabilities can occur in any department which affects the whole organization.

Pros

  • OWASP training for developers to address the application security issues.
  • Training on avoiding pitfalls related to email phishing, ransomware, etc.
  • Intruder attacks.
  • Network cyber defense.

Cons

  • It would be great to augment with additional examples related to OWASP training to help developers.
  • More training for folks who are not savvy tech users to understand impact of security breaches for the organization.
  • Getting feedback on simulated tests helps users become more aware/more well-versed on the email hygiene.
  • Application security measures can help the organization avoid costly cyber attacks.
  • Networks can be inoculated against DDOS and other cyber attacks and ransomware.
While I recommended KnowBe4, the decision was made by the Security Team and I am not aware of their full set of criteria.
The training sessions my teams and I have completed have been of high quality and comprehensive. Some of the application security issues do present again which we have to understand the reasons for.

We continue to train employees on the latest developments and gauge the outcome of the trainings.
