Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We use KnowBe4's product extensively throughout the year for all employees from the moment they are onboarded to when they leave. We perform regular training campaigns as well as phishing tests to identify any deficiencies, give our staff safe opportunities to practice their security awareness, and to give our security & compliance team visibility to how the organization is performing. We initially brought in the solution to address the serious risk of compromise via the email attacks that were constantly increasing in intensity and complexity as well as to address a compliance mandate. Since that time, we have been able to demonstrate clear improvements in our company's security awareness and stop some serious attacks before they got a foot hold in our environment. We have also been able to leverage the tool as an LMS system to deliver other critical homegrown HR and compliance related training.
- Providing meaningful training to our employees in a easy to understand format.
- Gives valuable reporting information to leadership to plan future improvements.
- Easy to use automated phishing tests to continuously test our employees.
- There are still some reporting challenges we have to work through. Inability to generate reports that don't fit into the predefined templates.
- Our corporate culture has changed dramatically where they now take security very seriously and respond to security notifications and training positively instead of seeing it as an annoying distraction.
- We have seen a 30% improvement in our company's security awareness test results from the day we started which is HUGE.
We have never used other security awareness training products but we did do an evaluation 4 years ago and found KnowBe4 to be the best from a deployment, quality, and cost perspective. Within just a few weeks we were able to get our entire staff in the system and with the first round of test results demonstrate to leadership how serious the problem was and how critical the training program was to the organization.

There is always new training content appearing from other publishers in the KnowBe4 training console though we have recently shared that we would like to see more KnowBe4 originated training content. There are a few KnowBe4 specific modules that refreshed annually which are great, but the majority of new training content is from external sources.
We are currently using KnowBe4's ADI SYNC functionality to keep the user list constantly insync with our own network and significantly cut down on the maintenance required for the system. Users are automatically assigned the appropriate training modules as part of onboarding based on their role within the organization. users are also automatically removed from KNowBe4 when they are separated from the company.
We rely heavily on the phish test reports to track progress and identify problem areas. We also reference the training module reports to a lesser degree to identify any employees ignoring the regular reminders to complete their training. We have few issues in that area since aside from weekly reminders during a campaign, we send daily late training reminders to employees and their managers once they are past due.
