Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We have been utilizing KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for several years now to deliver security awareness training to our end users. This has helped us close the gap on phish prone users. We added there phishing simulation to further test the effectiveness of the training and have seen significant improvements in user awareness.

Pros

  • The content is relevant and engaging
  • Their is a wide range of topics available to keep user awareness at the forefront on many levels from phishing and ransomware to tailgating.
  • The phishing simulation templates are incredibly helpful in getting things running quickly. There are 1000's of templates to choose from so you don't need to waste time creating your own.

Cons

  • The USB Drop Attack campaigns could use some improvements. This feature is newer so I suspect it will be improved upon, but today its basic with little configuration options.
  • The results in the effectiveness of this product can not be denied. Our users are making smarter decisions and reporting like never before.
  • Our initial phishing simulation result was discouraging. However, through repeated testing and remedial training we have made significant improvements and are really happy with the results.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training's console is self service so we have all of the control on the content while Arctic Wolf is Managed so this takes the workload off of the corporation for scheduling. However, I appreciate the ability to evaluate the security awareness content to be provided to our end users. Considering KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is the leader in this space it was an easy decision.

I have appreciated the increasing release of fresh content. There is a large amount of content available to us, but KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is continually adding more and more content. Not only is there new content, but even more language packs for preexisting content. If you have language barriers there is content available to utilize if the native language is not English.
User management can be done manually. However, you have the option to sync with your active directory or Entra ID. This makes user management incredibly simple. When a new account is created its automatically imported and enrolled into any in scope training assignments. When an account is disabled it will archive the account in the console which helps to maintain our active license count in the platform.
Understanding how our users are progressing is important to understand the effectiveness of our training campaigns and phishing simulations. There are various reports available in graphs, and list formats that can help identify your phish prone users and help to improve your overall campaign effectiveness.Overall our phish prone percentage is important to us.
KnowBe4 is a leader in the security awareness space and it shows in their console. Their support is incredibly helpful and regardless of the business that you are in, training your end users is important. The users are the last line of defense and with phishing being the number one attack vector, its important to ensure your users are equipped with the knowledge to spot these attacks.
