Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

My organization used KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training internally for our staff and contractors. We also are a reseller of KnowBe4's Security Awareness Training and use this as a tool to help train and test our client's staff. We have tried other platforms but unfortunately my firm works with a lot of INGO's and they require multiple languages.

  • No options for technical training for administrator or power users.
  • Allows the IT team to identify users who are a risk to the organization
  • Since using KnowBe4 our number of phished users goes down significantly.
  • The prebuilt templates allow for quick phishing simulations and saves time.
I have seen other training platforms which use cartoons for the training videos and demos. However, many times staff do not look at those as "real" scenarios because they only see the cartoon aspect and not a real threat to the business. Having the option for bite sized training is beneficial.
User management is done very seemlessly. We integrate KnowBe4 into our Identity Access Management solution (OKTA) for SSO. And users are signing training based upon the Active Directory group they are in. Linking SSO and AD is a huge time saver.
The most beneficial metric to my organization is the phished over time. Its nice to see how users progress in their cyber awareness journey from being click happy to reporting the phishing emails with the KnowBe4 phish button.
The usability is very simple and I have never gotten questions about how to proceed in a training.

KnowBe4 is very useful for organizations to help automate the cyber awareness journey. You can select from pre-built templates for phishing simulations. It does not require a lot of technical skill to run a cyber awareness program via KnowBe4. It also is useful to have multiple tenants and setup clients and report their metrics.
