Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Sales Navigator is used by our customer success, sales development, and sales teams:
  1. to connect and engage with decision makers at the companies that use our solution
  2. to prospect potential customers and find the right people at these companies
  3. to do social selling and position ourselves as thought leaders in our industry
  4. to map out global accounts and business units
  • Has improved a lot since launch!
  • Search filters became a lot better: show who joined a target company recently, who changed roles, etc. It is much easier to find potential prospects.
  • You can stay up to date with relevant news about people & companies that you follow.
  • It has great support! They provide hands-on training sessions for our company, do quarterly business reviews, etc.
  • Lots of good functionality but not always clear for new users how to get the most out of these features.
  • New joiners have quickly grown their network of good business contacts.
  • We save lots of time when applying the right filters & using the full functionality.
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a crucial solution for our Sales Development team to engage in a meaningful way with prospective buyers.
We've compared the quality of data using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to other (very) expensive providers of company databases. We found that LinkedIn profiles were often more accurate than these databases - since the people update these once they move to another company. These company databases do offer you contact information (e.g. business email address & telephone numbers.) which LinkedIn doesn't, but this doesn't justify the price these other data providers charge.
Sales Navigator is a must have if you want to do prospecting, or if you are in an 'account management' role - it can help you broaden your network, identify who's part of the Decision Making Unit (DMU) and build a relationship through a professional social network.
