Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used LiquidPlanner for the scheduling of our different projects, as well as organizing the work load (specially through the use of gantt charts) that allowed better time management for the different teams, as well as helping to visualize which tasks had a higher importance and improving in this way the organization within our business.

Pros and Cons

Allows to organize different tasks within the organization, so that every team in our business is clear on what to do.
It breaks down tasks and simplify activities in a way is easy for everyone to understand.
Accurately estimates dates to know when the work will be done.
Board views divided and organized by priority and importance.

Difficult to use in phone
Reporting can be difficult, for example, reports can't be exported in pdf yet

Alternatives Considered

Miro

Miro is a more versatile tool, but not quite made for planning and organizing. LiquidPlanner is very intuitive, fast to learn and easy to communicate. The added value of prioritizing tasks, personalized boards and gantt charts are really important during the planning and design thinking in the business. LiquidPlanner is simplified yet more helpful.

It is very helpful for time management and organization, as it allows work to be categorized by priority, something that allows our business to focus on what is important first, improving productivity. It is well suited for task management and integration, specially when working with larger files. It has easy exportation, making the information communication among the team so much easier. Each team member in the company gets a personalized board with its own workload, tasks and objectives, something that we consider very valuable as every individual gets to know their own tasks. It is not very appropriate for design development, as it is rather a planning tool.
