Overall Satisfaction with Litmos
Overall, I've found Litmos to be very intuitive. Unlike other platforms, Litmos has a wide and varied choice of editing tools, data management, and analytical functions that prove its reputation in the marketplace. Litmos does what it says on the tin and more.
Pros
- Content creation is quick and easy.
- It accepts a wide variety of file types and sizes.
- Extremely customizable to suit small and large organisations.
Cons
- Most modules must be no more than 1 GB, but I'm greedy and always want bigger file size allowances, especially when using video content!
- This would be a more user-friendly function when altering the platform's branding, as not everyone knows HTML code, etc.
- I always like to have more content functions, i.e., more ways to create present content. But to be fair, Litmos does have a surprisingly wide range. This means you don't have to go out and buy an additional content creator when you're just starting out.
- Reduced overall running costs, as Litmos' is reasonably priced.
- Easy to run analytical reports, saving time and money.
- More effective content creation and management; saving time and money.
- The support you get is second to none. It almost feels like it's on tap whenever you need it.
You save money by not having to buy an additional content creation package like some other platforms. You don't have to be a professional content creator to master Litmos, whereas other platforms aren't so obvious in their functionality.
