Overall Satisfaction with Litmos

Litmos is our LMS, we use it to push out training. We also upload training to it and we track training within it. Another way that we use it is with reporting. We create training reports that we share with different team members. These are people both within our LD team and also in teams like safety.

Pros

  • Easy to view user profiles

  • Reporting can be confusing and jumbled
  • The content creation feature is eclipsed by other programs
  • Limitations on connecting with other platforms

Would you buy Litmos again?

It's pretty good; very user intuitive and easy to follow. I don't hear a lot of complaints about it and find that the learning curve was not very steep. It is really easy to load new content into the library and assign training out. People appreciate being able to log into training from emails.

It works really well as a basic LMS. It is easy to assign training out and easy to upload content. It also works well if you purchase SCORM files and choose to load those in.
It struggles with pretty much anything besides assigning and loading content. You need a separate programme for authoring content. The reporting feature is not very good and requires a large amount of labor to get working.
We also had a real difficult time getting support from our customer service rep, which was a huge negative. We lost our previous rep, who was really good. Then the next rep didn't answer emails and left or was fired. For months we had no rep and our emails were unanswered or misdirected about our rep...until we renewed our contract. This experience was really negative and should be improved.
