Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Central

We use LogMeIn Central for our IT staff to support our own user base as well as by our technician team for remote product support and maintenance for our customers. It gives us dedicated, secure access to our customers under a support contract at anytime, without interaction from our customers.
  • Two form factor authentication available, a requirement in today's security world
  • They now have Linux support
  • Remote monitoring and information gathering from endpoints
  • Cost is high, but not as much as some of their competitors
  • Lack of monitoring 3rd party Antivirus solutions in favor of there own provided solution
  • High CPU usage triggers alert on automatic updates of their LogMeIn client software
  • Save time by not dispatching technicians onsite
  • faster response time by technicians
  • another method of proactive system monitoring
Good product, just a little more costly than we expect and the inflexible quantity levels you have to purchase.
We have experienced a few outages with them, maybe twice a year, with the worst being half a business day, but average about 30 minutes.
WebEx, TeamViewer, Cisco
It is useful where remote desktop is unavailable for whatever reason and you need secure access to the equipment. If is also helpful because you can access the user's session like WebEx, but have access to items run as an administrator, unlike WebEx. Remote installation of the full client can be difficult.
