Cons

  • The integration with outlook exists, but remaina a bit limited on the authoring side (no possibility to build newsletter from Outlook).
  • Better lead generation.
  • Great for content distribution.
Exceptional user experience, interface, great solid tool, nice ecoystem, possibility to import / export everything, nice documentation.
Do you actually need a newsletter? Do you want to manage properly? Then mailchimp is the way to go.

Usability

Mailchimp's website is a brilliant example of usability for a rather complex and cumbersome task (email newsletter management), with a fantastic touch of awesomeness - every detail is well thought out: from a design standpoint, the website is bliss, and with a nice touch of humor.
