Overall Satisfaction with MailChimp
We use MailChimp primarily for weekly newsletters and have used it for autoresponders in the past. It is used by the marketing department. [The business problem it addresses] is being able to communicate in a simple, reliable way to people who have said they want to stay in touch with what we are doing as a company (product updates & news) or to see what we see as interesting in our industry (content marketing and conversion rate optimization).
- Dead Simple newsletter workflow
- Highly reliable delivery and awesome mobile formating
- Nice integrations with worklfow tools like Goodbits
- It's not a robust marketing automation solution like Marketo or HubSpot. They are building this out. Some may argue that this is a feature, not a bug. But I'm encouraged to see more powerful and robust automation features for those who want them.
- This is nit picky, but the editor could allow for more flexibility. They are likely making trade-offs around usability, reliability and flexibility, but I wish it weren't so difficult or require custom code to make some of the changes to formating.
- Mainly around increased efficiency
- More communication with audience because newsletters are so easy to put together
- intercom,constant contact,campaign monitor
Best in class here in terms of functionaity, ease of use and value
