Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Our entire organization is using Mailchimp to send email blasts to both our member base regarding rehearsals and pertinent info, but also to our patrons. We use Mailchimp to advertise concerts, events, and fundraising. Mailchimp makes it easy for our board members in charge of marketing to send out an email to every patron who has ever come to one of our concerts. We get a large reach through this product.
- Very user-friendly - We are not tech-savvy in this non-profit and needed something simple to use.
- Email templates are clean and fit our needs.
- When using the free version emails are sent out with the Mailchimp logo at the bottom.
- Simple and easy email templates do not always fit with what you want/need.
- We get data points on how our emails are reaching our base.
- We have been able to increase ticket sales and season ticket sales.
We selected Mailchimp through a simple google search. We did not know much of anything about email marketing and Mailchimp was advertised on our local NPR station. We used the free version for many years which definitely fits our budget! We grew so accustomed to the software that we did end up upgrading. If we lose subscribers we would be happy to use the free version again. We did not consider many other systems due to Mailchimp's ease of use.
