We haven’t checked these areas but i believe with the advancements it should be easier . Process efficiency has certainly increased not really sure about on boarding speed and the ability to deliver data projects more efficiently because they still require a strategic mindset and project management. Can be considered as developed
we have decreased the time to do project significantly by making people free and moving over from Manual to processes to automated processes? No one is writing long sequel, queries or python codes anymore as these are all built in Matillion
connectivity with various API has been really successful for our team. We don’t have to build and maintain API connectors anymore as those are done by Matillion themselves. no one is again writing long sequel queries which can get very complex in some circumstances as well as Python codes. The other benefit is that whenever we have a new join, we don’t have to spend time explaining him how the code works, but it’s easier to explain the pipeline

Historically, we used to connect API through curl or python, but now we use the software for connectivity, which has saved loads of time in maintaining the API,
It has saved a lot of time for data teams and the best part is you can see output after every stage. It helps non technical users understand parts of it to help business users better their experience.
It took us approximately 2 months to develop our data flows. The migration process from existing flows proved to be challenging and time-consuming due to the complexity of our workflows. Although building proof of concepts (POCs) was a quick and easy task, the transition to a production environment demanded a significant amount of time.
Lots of connectors which are available in Matillion
Matillion is cheaper and we really like the customer support of Matillion as well as lerning materials provided by Matillion were far better. They also made connectors for us for free while others were charging us for it.
