Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)

[Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)] is being used across our entire organization. This product allows us to develop presentations for board meetings, as well as summarize financial results. Additionally, we use it as a word processor to type offer letters, and additional communications that we disseminate to employees as well as members. The organization also uses the Microsoft Outlook for all e-mail communications.
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations is easy and is very user friendly.
  • The enhanced features in Excel make it easy to turn raw data into presentation items that can be understood by non-financially inclined indiviuals.
  • Teams enables team members to communicate seamlessly and easily with each other when in multiple locations.
  • Using Outlook for our e-mail communications enables all team members to use identical formats giving a professional appearance in communications.
  • There are some functions in Excel that I have seen are available in other versions that are not available in the 365 version.
  • The default format in Word is spaced oddly. In my opinion, the default should be single spaced between each row, you should have to select that.
  • Teams should be able to be used in a smaller window, similar to how AOL Instant Messanger used to be.
  • Excel for generating reports and financial statements.
  • PowerPoint for making financial presentations people can understand.
  • Teams for communication with remote team members.
  • Microsoft 365 ties in with our back office system, fully, so we are able to generate and import reports easily.
  • We have been very happy with this product and have not wasted time or energy with researching alternative software.
Microsoft 365 [(formerly Office 365)] is the only product of this type we use. Our internal software utilizes and Excel type program to develop financial reports, however. I have found this product to be cumbersome and inefficient. Microsoft 365 Excel is far easier to use. I actually adjust my reports in Excel instead of changing the system.

Would you buy Microsoft 365 again?

Microsoft teams is a very useful platform that can increase efficiency and enable teams to work together. The Teams function has made communication much easier, especially considering the state of remote work in the current environment. As a daily user of Excel, I have found this version to be very easy to use and navigate.
