Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
[Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)] is being used across our entire organization. This product allows us to develop presentations for board meetings, as well as summarize financial results. Additionally, we use it as a word processor to type offer letters, and additional communications that we disseminate to employees as well as members. The organization also uses the Microsoft Outlook for all e-mail communications.
- Creating PowerPoint presentations is easy and is very user friendly.
- The enhanced features in Excel make it easy to turn raw data into presentation items that can be understood by non-financially inclined indiviuals.
- Teams enables team members to communicate seamlessly and easily with each other when in multiple locations.
- Using Outlook for our e-mail communications enables all team members to use identical formats giving a professional appearance in communications.
- There are some functions in Excel that I have seen are available in other versions that are not available in the 365 version.
- The default format in Word is spaced oddly. In my opinion, the default should be single spaced between each row, you should have to select that.
- Teams should be able to be used in a smaller window, similar to how AOL Instant Messanger used to be.
- Excel for generating reports and financial statements.
- PowerPoint for making financial presentations people can understand.
- Teams for communication with remote team members.
- Microsoft 365 ties in with our back office system, fully, so we are able to generate and import reports easily.
- We have been very happy with this product and have not wasted time or energy with researching alternative software.
Microsoft 365 [(formerly Office 365)] is the only product of this type we use. Our internal software utilizes and Excel type program to develop financial reports, however. I have found this product to be cumbersome and inefficient. Microsoft 365 Excel is far easier to use. I actually adjust my reports in Excel instead of changing the system.
