Microsoft Office 365 (Cloud)
Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
Using this as the primary suite for the business: e-mail, communication (Teams), word processing, spreadsheets, collaboration. You name it. No package in the market comes close to it in terms of the variety of solutions it offers and all of this at a price that just makes sense with different bundles to suit your needs.
- Integration with other Microsoft systems
- Great feature set
- Pricing
- Complicated licensing
- Changes too often
- Integration with rest of systems
- Users are already familiar with the products
- Cost
- Feature set
- Bundled pricing as saved us over 25% in licensing costs
- Reducing on-premises infrastructure and maintenance costs
- Free self-paced training provided
- Being cloud-based there is basically no downtime so productivity is never reduced
- Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
While Google Workspace is cheaper initially, its feature set is not as robust and the end-user experience can't beat Microsoft's products. Integration with other products is also a factor and here Microsoft trumps Google Workspace again as it's pretty much the standard in office productivity suites with hundreds if not thousands of third-party products that work with it to enhance and improve what already is a great suite of tools.
