Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)

We use Microsoft 360 every single day. We use mail, excel, teams, and word, as well as Mercury. It is awesome using Microsoft because it is linked to our database of over 1,000,000 candidates worldwide. So, when we need to send an email, book an appointment or interview, or track our data, it is super easy to find all the information. For example, I needed to see all of the people from my company who had emailed a CEO of a large Pharmaceutical company. I went to their page on Mercury and was able to see any time someone had sent them an email through Microsoft Outlook. It also makes scheduling, presenting, and overall communication easier within the business, especially with virtual working!
  • keeps me extremely organized. It is so easy to link calendars, emails, and documents.
  • keeps me well connected. It is so easy to send a quick message on teams or send an email to a group (for example, my particular team within the company).
  • easy to use. Everything is straightforward, making it easy to find an answer to a question. There is even a search option to figure out how to do something within Microsoft.
  • Sometimes, when I try to attach a document to an email, it says it doesn't exist. I only know how to fix this by resaving the document. It is frustrating since the document obviously does exist.
  • My email freezes sometimes when I try to send an email to a lot of people. This is also frustrating because I have to reset my whole work computer.
  • Important emails keep going into [the] trash, even though I have emailed a lot with the sender. I sent an urgent email, got a response, and didn't notice for 4 hours because it was in my trash. It made the urgent matter much more stressful.
  • Email groups- we use so many groups and these auto groups are really easy. For example, there is an email group for my team, my office, all of the North American offices, and the whole international company!
  • Excel sharing- we are only allowed a certain amount of people in the office every day because of COVID. There is an excel sheet with a seating chart that everyone can use each week to sign up for slots to go into the office. This makes it easy to coordinate who is going in, without it being one person's job.
  • Email importance- you can send emails with high importance. This has been huge for when I need my boss's attention. I send him a lot of emails, so being able to flag one as urgent is very important.
  • It has helped keep the high-energy culture my company has since it allows easy communication and calls.
  • Positively impacts responses from clients, since we can see how many times they have been contacted. (the more someone is contacted, the less likely they are to respond. Microsoft helps make sure we all know who and who not to contact)
  • positively impacts my ability to focus, since you can mute notifications. Since I look at my computer all day, it is helpful to lock in and not get distracted by the many emails I receive a day. You can also change preferences, so emails with high urgency are still seen.
I used to like Google more than Microsoft because I used it more, but now I think they are very similar. I am able to use both on my phone, both have Clouds, and both have synced calendars, documents, and sheets. The reason I use Microsoft is [that] my company uses it, and I had no impact on that decision. However, since my time at this company, I have grown to love Microsoft and how easy it makes simple day-to-day tasks. Again, since we now work from home a lot, Microsoft makes work much easier. I think Google does, as well, but now that I am [using] Microsoft every single day, I have learned more tricks and tips, making me value Microsoft and Google equally.

Do you think Microsoft 365 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft 365's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft 365 live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Microsoft 365 go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Microsoft 365 again?

Yes

It does make daily work a lot easier, especially since we are working from home a lot. It is easy to attach a Teams invite to an email or calendar invite, again making communication very easy. If I need to set up a meeting with my boss, I will often send him a Teams message, and he will tell me to send him a Teams Meeting invite. When I do this, I can see exactly when he is free, and my invite goes straight to his calendar. It makes a lot of day-to-day actions seamless.
