Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Power BI

We use Microsoft Power BI for a lot of financial projections, data analysis and budgeting purposes. The features provided make data consolidation and presentation much quicker and easier when working with large data sets. It also speeds up the presentation process by allowing quick and easy to implement graphs and charts.

Once you understand the system, it's much easier to use. However, it can be a little difficult to get going or onboard new users. Many users are familiar with Excel or Google Sheets and Microsoft Power BI presents similarly, but does not function the same. It can be hard to bring people from the comfort of Excel formats into a new system they need to learn.

We need to have a financial dashboard that consolidates our financial information from across all campuses to present our information in both big and small detail formats. We also need to have adequate graphs and info to present the info quickly. We also use the system for budgeting purposes. It's helpful to pull large amounts of data and bring it together to create a comprehensive and accurate budget.
