Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Power BI

It's a powerful tool! Depending on scale setting up the data base is not for everyone. You need data and you need a lot of data. If you have that then it starts to make sense. If you don't have huge amounts of Data I would default to Excel to do my analysis.

Cons

  • Ease for setting up data base
  • Collaboration and seeing your own dashboard
  • Configuration requires "certification"
  • Helps automate large data sums
  • Subscription costs bleeds
Need to have solid understanding of building and accessing the data base. Setting up the links and granting team members access gets expensive. As a start up don't see the value in that at the moment.
Same need to be large scale.

Suited for larger scale corps with lots and lots of data. The processing is great but for smaller startups and life style companies believe Excell can do the job. Don't need the subscription and the associated costs. The time that might be saved is minimal to the cost.
