Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is used to communicate primarily in our organization. For chats, video/audio meetings.

Microsoft Teams helps to connect to all the employees working worldwide in the organization. It also keeps the history of chats which is useful to find older messages. It also helps to share files across the organization

Pros

  • Microsoft Teams help with chatting with other employees
  • It helps with video meetings.
  • It helps share files.

Cons

  • There is definitely room to improve connectivity issues while joining a meeting.
  • Many times the screen freezes and the application stops working. Reloading the application usually works.
  • Raise hand button sometimes doesn't show up on the screen. Its easy to miss someone, if they have raised a hand that doesn't show up on other's screen.
  • We stopped using and paying for other chatting tools and apps after we started using Microsoft Teams. The cost has definitely been decreased as employees can do multiple things on Microsoft Teams.
On major points. Microsoft Teams perform extremely well. Microsoft Teams have lesser disadvantages compared to other similar apps available. It is very easy to use and navigate. Majority of employees prefer to use Microsoft Teams. It is also wasy to have Microsoft Teams on our mobile phones which help with the connectivity when not working incase of emergencies.
Connectivity is better is Microsoft Teams. Majority of employees have used Microsoft Teams so it required less training. In minimal training an employee can learn how to use Microsoft Teams. If having any issues, we can also search on Google to get help with Microsoft Teams. It is easily available on the internet.

By far the best platform for chatting, break-out rooms and meetings. Its easy to operate even for someone who is not a tech savy.

I would not use Microsoft Teams for sedning very sensitive data as it doesn't provide a lot of protection. It's a bit unsafe to share sensitive data of organization.
