Overall Satisfaction with Middesk

We primarily have been using Middesk when we need to set up operations in a new state. We've also been going through the painstaking process of gathering our payroll and tax account information from our previous TPAs, state agencies, etc. and we've recently started using Middesk to transfer administration for those states. State registrations can be complex and nuanced - Middesk helps us stay compliant by prompting us to gather information as few times as possible, then we can rely on the technology to sort it all out and get us registered wherever we need to.

ADP Workforce Now offers a module to handle payroll tax registrations. The interface is confusing and the information is hard to find. The service and support are awful - nobody ever knows who can answer tax account questions, they escalate to a different department and promise a callback but they never call back.

UI is not as intuitive as other systems we use. For states that require income tax withholding, some of them require registration with multiple agencies - the UI doesn't easily tell you which login credentials are tied to which agency.
Whenever human intervention is needed, the Middesk team is very quick to respond (within 24 hours max) and the information requests are clear and actionable.
Middesk is an excellent and vital tool for any business needing to set up operations in a new state. The process the seamless and easy. For businesses looking to transfer administration of existing state accounts, the process is a little more clunky. Either way, Middesk saves a ton of time and brainpower needed to maintain registrations with state agencies.
