Overall Satisfaction with MindManager
- Project management (structuring project scope, planning [both in terms of schedule and resources])
- process diagrams
- Mindmapping / Brainstorming
Pros
- structuring problems
- project planning
- generating process diagrams
Cons
- using macros (there is a Visual Basic feature, but it is unclear how to use it)
- Formula-editor (for doing calcuations with properties) should be better explained
- Synchronizing with SharePoint-Task lists is hard if you wish to synchronize properites too (which are columns in SharePoint)
- Reduce time to create process diagrams by 20% (as compared to other options)
- Steep learning curve: people can learn all important features of MindManager easily and in really short term (it takes much more time to learn the handling of other, more powerful tools)
- Brainstorming
- Process Mapping
- Task and Project Management
- Project Planning
11 to 50
- the feature which are relevant for the majority of users are available in MindManager, and these feature can be learned easily and quickly; the alternative tools are more powerful (but have a lot of feature the standard user does not need) and are more expensive and difficult to learn.
