My Miro experience while collaborating with others

Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It's used throughout the whole company. It's mainly used for brainstorming and presenting different processes or ideas. We use it for planning sessions and collaboration. Miro is usually used to visualise complicated or complex processes we have in engineering or business in general. We try to establish causality and places of impact.
  • Simple visualisation using basic graph elements keeps the focus on data, not graphs.
  • Color coding as a way to express grouping.
  • Collaboration using sticky notes.
  • Visualise connections.
  • More intentional element manipulation.
  • Grouping.
  • Snippets.
  • Improve understanding of the topics under discussion.
  • Easy understanding of complicated business processes.
  • Improved effectiveness of planning and brainstorming sessions.
  • Improved collecting the feedback.
For non-frequent users or newcomers, creating or editing is clumsy, and they become discouraged. This is especially impactful on team collaborative sessions. Some kind of intentional interaction with the editor or instant help will be beneficial.
I am not familiar with Miro integration capabilities. We are using it integrated with the company office suite.

For me, Miro is suitable to visualise almost any topic that you would like to collaborate with a team or do individual brainstorming. It's an easy-to-use tool that can sparkle instant collaboration from planning sessions, prioritising working items up to visualise complex business processes. Personally, I also use it for individual brainstorming and mid-maps. This is helping me to initiate and preserve my creative thoughts.
