Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are an organization of young people doing an arts-based research project focusing on peacebuilding. I lead some of the programmes and facilitate young people for discussions. Since we are located in different areas and esp due to covid-19 regulations, we make use of Miro very much as our platform for brainstorming and collecting ideas. Miro is our discussion board. It is easy to use and perfect to expand ideas with no limitation (no frame border).
  • The mind mapping feature is very useful to channel our thoughts.
  • Sticky notes and inserting document/web link as our collection of references/data.
  • Voting with colors.
  • The choices of the layout.
  • Font types are still limited.
  • Tracking changes by date will be helpful.
  • Time efficiency.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Improved engagement.
I have been so far satisfied with the implementation of Miro in my research project.
I haven't used much of Miro integration.
Definitely very helpful using Miro with my team from a distance to work on a new project. As a virtual meeting room supported with visualization, graphics, templates, my discussion with my team goes very smoothly. What I like the most is we can add our resources and references directly to the board.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is suitable as a collaborative board in the early stages of the project. It has many features and visual formats that will help the team with their imagination and creativity. It escalates the discussion in more creative and engaging ways, that makes people feel more comfortable to have a say or put their ideas. Miro is also very useful for gathering voices to vote. However, in a further stage of a project, I couldn't see Miro being very useful, esp for tracking the progress of a project.
