Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Cross-functional collaboration for brainstorming customer experience and user journeys.

Pros

  • Creates a frame and structure that can keep brainstorming chaos readable and navigation friendly.

Cons

  • When collaborating with multiple teams and people, the content on the board can be adjusted by anyone, so people who aren't as familiar with the features and interface can inadvertently mess up the layout.
  • A simple way to share ideas across teams.
Was not part of the implementation and wasn't provided any training.
Haven't had to integrate with other tools.
The team is mainly remote, so it's a good resource to use as a drawing space to collaborate.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

No

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Ultimately a good collaboration space with a decent selection of templates to get a visual project started but not perfect. Since the tools aren't very friendly for repetitive tasks it requires lots of clicking to accomplish something that could be accomplished with a shortcut, such as adding and adjusting sticky notes, text boxes, and frame formatting.
