Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro allows me to visually organize a project, keep the project ideas clear and relate different strategies. It's an organizational system for me. It also allows a quick exchange with the different designers of the project. Facilitates brainstorming for small teams. It is highly useful at the start of the project. I anticipate using this tool to address myself to clients and even offer them the possibility of exchanging information with me via this platform. So a program that allows me to keep the common thread of the project, communicate schematic ideas quickly and gather a large amount of information from different project stakeholders. Supports a holistic view.
Pros
- Supports a holistic view.
- Group brainstorming.
- Make a project sketch.
- Keep the focus on the fuzzy concepts of a project.
Cons
- More drawing options (easier use of the stylus, example: pressure sensitivity for thickness, see drawing software).
- More accessibility to all, make use portions of the software free.
- Have fields (update data on the whole document).
- Textbox is sometimes not easy to manipulate (adjust the size, stretch) the thinness of the box increases the chances of catching the point that connects the boxes together.
- Improve the initial launch of the project in its scope and its comparison with similar projects.
- Avoids buying an infinitely large whiteboard.
- Has a large cloud storage capacity (high resolutions photos).
Since Covid-19, teleworking has become very important to me, this tool has allowed me to manage them well remotely. Viewing the cursor of other users in real-time drastically increases communication together, the addition to quickly finding another user's cursor is a big plus even if it is not often required because I am still not used to it.

Miro software is more versatile than draw.io. The latter is simpler but less effective. Communication, file management, grouping, and filing of tools are all pluses in Miro compared to draw.io. There is a way to work with draw.io that doesn't require you to log in, it's free and faster to start with, but these are short-term and very short-term benefits.
