Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I have used Miro for workshops, brainstorming, and focus group sessions. When working remotely Miro is a good tool for collaboration and seems to offer a smoother user experience than other similar products I have used.

Pros

  • Templates.
  • Collaboration.
  • Retros.

Cons

  • Locking shapes / items so they don't move on the page.
  • Incorporating different media types.
  • Timer tools.
  • Improved collaboration.
  • Ideas sharing.
The dashboard/welcome screen is easy to navigate. No tutorial is needed to get started.
Haven't got experience in ease of integration, but would be nice if not required to make a new account and be available to sign in with Microsoft.
Improved ease of collaboration when working remotely.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly) and draw.io
Miro has a smoother user experience.
More suited to brainstorming, retros, workshop sessions. Less suited in my opinion to creating docs that you want to revisit or reuse.
