Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We're using Miro in a group class, to resolve business problems such as retrospectives, having a collective et collaborative discussion about the future and using perspective to find solutions to tomorrow's problems, etc. Miro gives the possibility to anyone to participate, wherever they are in the world. It really helped me during Covid-19.
Pros
- Giving the perfect tools to anyone who would like to participate in the session. (Simple and fast).
- Create a collaborative environment where everyone can share and react to one another.
- Having a blank board where all the ideas can be added, as organized or not.
Cons
- Maybe on the templates they provide.
- It is hard for someone new to Miro to understand quickly how to use it. Maybe improve the tutorial before entering a session.
- Make sure nobody can move the template, because I had a lot of problems with that in the past. Make it easier to lock it for good.
- Reduced useless discussion and the time to make a decision.
- Added more misunderstandings sometimes.
- Added time for explanation on how Miro works (tutorial) to meetings.
We can now all work at different times of the day. There are a lot more propositions and creativity. Solutions are more creative and collaborative than before.
