Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Due to the pandemic, Problem Based Learning in the medical program at Lunds University had to be done [at] a distance. Whiteboard access is invaluable in these projects, meaning that we could not possibly have had a high quality education during the pandemic without reasources such as Miro. It abled us to communicate, draw and discuss seamlessly with all tools we could possibly need, with supervision and input from tutors. The customer service was fast to respond whenever changing of account settings was necessary.
Pros
- Integrates input from a big number of people
- Able group projects to expand to massive sizes, without switching boards
- works seamlessly on many devices at once, so that i on the same account in the same session can draw on the phone/ipad app, while writing in the desktop app
Cons
- Increasing the max number of members in a team for student accounts
- More color choices when drawing, instead of a few limited options
- Allow for bigger variation in usage. Bigger and smaller pen sizes, bigger and smaller fonts, and limitless boards. Let us work on an infinitely small or large scale
- Increased learning during a global pandemic
- Increased mental health for many students, since trying to work on Zooms integrated whiteboard was a depressing nightmare for everyone involved
Miro has absolutely revolutionized distance learning, abling us to work in ways we earlier thought were impossible off-campus. There is now no hiccups or restraints in any way to simply start up Miro for a quick discussion or new massive group project
