Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it for online teaching.

Pros

  • Allow effective collaboration between students.
  • Allow students to draw from various sources and use those sources in their contributions.
  • Have templates for different board types.

Cons

  • Templates that support educational projects, rather than business ones.
  • More responsive to scrolling and zooming, panning.
  • An easier way to identify contributions from specific people.
  • This doesn't really apply to my use and speaks to the business focus of the company and product.
[The] browser-based platform is robust and open, however, is less than smooth in zooming/panning functionality Less responsive than would be ideal,
Because anyone can just use it in a browser, it's very easy to integrate into student workflows Would like to have this product integrated into our Learning Management System, however, and that is a bit more difficult to do properly.
I haven't used Miro as a Team, only in educational settings, but it has been a key collaborative tool for my students in my course.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Easier to use, simpler, but some of these alternatives are better designed for educational contexts
Online learning, when contributions can be made synchronously and seen in [the] process by contributors Business and strategic planning; many of the templates are designed for this purpose and they're great for that Could have better features for async collaboration, such as notifications, or history of contributions, etc. But limited templates for educational contexts.
