Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro as a brainstorming tool which is very effective as we do this exercise in a virtual space. People can throw in as many ideas as they can and I love having the ability to bucket and group ideas together in Miro. The platform also allows us to prioritize initiatives and get clarity on how ideas aligns to our objectives and vision.
Pros
- Voting - participants get to put weight on ideas eventually allowing us to prioritize
- Bucketing - grouping similar ideas together
- Sharing - sharing boards to all attendees and other people within the organization
Cons
- More options that will help on visuals, like colors, shapes, etc.
- Designing and plotting ideas into executable action plans is definitely a plus
- If the participation is minimal, the investment cost calculated per attendee can be too much (little ROI in this case)
The ability to get back to the board for future action plans is very beneficial
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
No
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Miro again?
No
The cost per participant in Miro is just too expensive and it charges recurring rates even if the board is not frequently used
