Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Primarily use it for virtual workshops and meetings, such as customer journey mapping workshop, business discovery workshop, customer insights validation interviews, business and operation process mapping, solutions ideation. Teams are able to contribute directly in Miro during these events. Info captured in Miro will be used as the base to define solutions.
  • Allow guests to contribute. Previously used Lucidchart and it doesn't have that function.
  • Variety of templates - use cases and community. Those are good.
  • Like the timer feature. Works well during virtual collaboration.
  • Export Miro to PowerPoint for presentation. Although Miro has presentation function but sometimes I have additional info in PowerPoint that I want to combine with Miro to share.
  • Insert image file. Now I only do copy and paste.
  • When moving swim lane from top to bottom or vice versa, the connection lines will not move from top to bottom or vice versa. I have to manually adjust.
  • Productivity - spend less time doing map, chart, graph, etc
  • Virtual collaboration - improve effectiveness as everyone gets hands on participation
  • Faster decision making - better visualization helps decision making
Implementation was pretty quick for me. Miro was approved by IT as IT has to clear it from security point of view. After that we just made purchase online and started using it right away. There's really no need for training as it is quite easy to use. Or I will search online for things I want to do and see if Miro has any solutions.
As long as IT gives its ok for use, the integration to our organization is pretty seamless.
I used it for virtual workshops, meetings, customer interviews. It really helps with collaboration as people can write their ideas and thoughts on sticky notes. For people who do not speak out much in meetings this is a big plus. It also makes everything more engaging (eg. use of voting function), better to capture people's attention by having something visual to show during discussion.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro offers virtual collaboration access without additional fee. I don't see this feature in Lucidchart. The variety and type of template in Miro is also a lot better than Lucidchart.
Miro works well with process mapping. I use swim lane to map process. It will automatically adjust the content when I move the swim lane. It also works well for customer journey mapping. It is easy to add, delete or move journey stages. I will be doing service design blueprint next so curious to see how it works out.
