Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to do collaborative and remote whiteboarding sessions for software design and also for SCRUM events. The mindmap tools also provide an excellent way to organize ideas and share these thoughts with the rest of the team. Presentations that need some interactivity are also a good use-case for Miro within my organization.
Pros
- Mind Maps
- Collaborative Whiteboards
- Templates
Cons
- Resource intensive for the PC
- During the pandemic, helped a lot on performing discussions remotely
- Helped communicating design ideas to other team members
It has greatly improved the ability to cooperate, especially compared with other competing tools like Microsoft Whiteboard, which has a lot less features and is incredibly unstable
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
Whiteboard really has a limited feature set and the implementation is really unstable, which makes its continued usage really hard. Our team used it for a while, but quickly decided to switch to Miro because it was becoming a burden.
The whiteboard integration with other Microsoft products does work a little better as expected, but not enough to compensate for the other issues
