Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used Miro to draw business processes in order to make them easily readable by business users. It was so simple to do it with Miro. The graphical user interface is very intuitive to use and it helps me to spend less than one day modeling a very complex process.

Implementation Rating

Miro can be implémented user by the user but can scale very well as it is offered in SaaS mode. The free license allows me to test the product without any limitation which is very nice. The tool is very user-friendly also the learning curve for à new user is very quick.

Ease of Integration

I give this rating because the tool requires no installation and it can run in a browser. But the import-export is quite poor because it seems it can only export diagrams in PDF or image format. It could be interesting to provide intégration using market standards like UML or BPMN.

Collaboration

I used Miro as a collaboration tool when doing a live drawing of business processes with business actors. We did it from several différent sites and we appreciated the ability to co-edit the diagrams and help people to react in life. It would have been a nightmare if we would do it remotely without Miro.

Miro is very well suited for modeling and building diagrams like business process diagrams because a lot of différent artifacts are available. But Miro is less appropriate in case we want to sync diagrams with any other kind of tools like UML tools because it does not provide any related connectors.
