Overall Satisfaction with Miro
On my team, I mainly use Miro to collaborate with others. The main activities include brainstorming, project planning, visual representations, and other collaborative activities. I have established a practice of opening up a Miro board for every new project and using that as the shared space to share information and gather feedback. The larger team has started to adopt this approach as well and feels strongly about the tool.
Pros
- Brainstorming
- Retrospectives
- Project Planning
Cons
- Security - sometimes it's confusing who has access to the board vs. the team and the education plan only allows for one admin which makes it a bit difficult to manage
- Commenting feature is a bit awkward, not sure the tagging of others notifies the people like some other software
- Saves time - information is one place instead of several Word or Excel documents
- Alignment - people on the team can agree on things and are all looking at the same thing
Have not used it as much honestly.
