Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it to design wireframes and also create activities for people to complete. The wireframes are great to use on Miro because of the wireframe component library, as it makes it much quicker to complete the work. For education activities, it's super easy to use Miro and have everyone's movement be tracked and seen so that it can be much more interactive than other virtual experiences.

Implementation Rating

I think that the Miro app could be better, as I much prefer the web-based program but prefer the usability of having a locally installed app. The web app should allow boards to be organized alphabetically rather than just by the recency of the board that was last edited.

Ease of Integration

I think it's super handy being able to link to specific boards and also frames. It seems to be a bit buggy if you try to link to frames that have frames within them, so it's not perfect. I really appreciate how overall it's really easy to link to things within Miro since it's easy to use within designs or presentations.

Collaboration

Miro is great for being collaborative since you can see everyone's activity. It makes activities more engaging since you can actually see what's happening, rather than just collaborating on something and being able to see what people are adding to a board. Especially because linking is easy, its easy to disburse the board for collaboration

Alternatives Considered

Miro is much better than Figma in terms of usability and features, but Figma is free and is a lot more accessible to people in that way. Miro is a great tool, but the price is really inaccessible to people, especially students who want to collaboratively work and don't have an account through their school.

Likelihood to Recommend

I genuinely love Miro for design, although because of the paid nature it's sometimes easier to use Figma since it's more accessible to people, however, it's harder to use. Miro is great for first-time users or even people who know nothing about design because being able to drag and drop components is very easy
