Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use it to design wireframes and also create activities for people to complete. The wireframes are great to use on Miro because of the wireframe component library, as it makes it much quicker to complete the work. For education activities, it's super easy to use Miro and have everyone's movement be tracked and seen so that it can be much more interactive than other virtual experiences.
Pros
- Having component libraries that include resources for specific cases
- Allowing easy collaboration
- Having easily accessible resources that can be linked to
Cons
- Components and component libraries could be more fleshed out
- Able to create your own components or component libraries
- Allow for linking to specific components
- Creating quick collaborative boards
- Creating super quick basic wireframes
- Collaborate on ideas or affinity diagraming
Miro is great for being collaborative since you can see everyone's activity. It makes activities more engaging since you can actually see what's happening, rather than just collaborating on something and being able to see what people are adding to a board. Especially because linking is easy, its easy to disburse the board for collaboration
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
Miro is much better than Figma in terms of usability and features, but Figma is free and is a lot more accessible to people in that way. Miro is a great tool, but the price is really inaccessible to people, especially students who want to collaboratively work and don't have an account through their school.
