Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization uses Miro to collaborate on projects and for online whiteboarding. For projects, we'll keep track of project plans, documents, and architectural diagrams on different Miro boards. For online whiteboarding and collaboration, we'll use diagrams to visualize ideas and gather real-time feedback from our teammates.

I thought Miro was generally well-implemented. There are some performance improvements that would greatly enhance my experience, however.

Ease of Integration

It was easy to integrate Miro into our workflows. We were able to pick up the basics off the bat and migrate some of our documentation into Miro boards.

Collaboration

Miro has greatly improved our ability to collaborate on new projects. Especially in an entirely virtual environment, meetings used to be less interactive and had less participation from the team. Miro makes it easy for multiple people to hone in and collaborate simultaneously.

I found Miro to be well suited for online team meetings. It helps us stay engaged and have a live view of what our teammates are interacting with. I found it less appropriate when boards become unwieldy and hard to navigate. That, combined with the performance issues that come with navigating a large board have been my biggest pain points.
