Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are using Miro to create an interactive quarterly planning session, as well as bi-weekly retrospective sessions. Everyone can edit and view the board simultaneously.

Pros

  • Distinguish the colors of post-its.
  • Copy a existing board / previous session.
  • Store the sessions.

Cons

  • I know you can hide the mouse cursor, but maybe disable it by default or the board owner. It can be distracting.
  • Adding even more colors to the post-its, possibly custom colors.
  • Improved productivity.
Nope, we can just create our own boards. I do not know how it is set up.
Easy, you just need an account and a link to a board.
Handy now that many people are working from home. Anyone can just login and see and edit a white board.

Yes

The white board in Azure Devops also works well. Especially if only the organizer wants to draw something. But it will not be stored, people will make screenshots in able to save it.
Miro's ability to store the board is a nice feature to have.
Especially in a group of 5-10 people, having an interactive session it can be helpful. When there are too many people working on a small board, it is less helpfull, i.e. 100 people.
