Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We're using Miro for all kinds of purposes: from strategy workshops, and illustrating development scenarios to retrospectives. Especially in our remote and distributed setup Miro is a great tool to facilitate meetings towards a good outcome that is both created together with active participation of all parties as well as to reach a common agreement. Also, I find out very helpful to model overviews of how a system should behave, of what pieces it consists, how they interact together. Compared to other tools available, Miro is always ahead of the competition with regards to features and user experience. For me, it's the top tool to support knowledge workers.

Pros

  • Support of facilition of retrospectives with timers, dot-voting, "bring to me"
  • Providing new and unique features ahead of the competition
  • Nice visual look and feel

Cons

  • Exporting and importing parts of a board, templating for reuse
  • Improved communication within and across teams
  • Better solutions in shorter time
I'm not using any integration.
Miro has greatly supported us in our ability to collaborate on new projects.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It is especially useful for retrospectives, workshops, domain-driven design, user journeys, storytelling, and interactive modeling for thinking about a common problem. In my experience, it is not ideal for drawing complex diagrams, like mindmaps.
