Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to visually map tangible processes like the customer experience as well as conceptual frameworks such as brand constructs and sales funnels. It's fairly easy to use for a single facilitator and the individual stickies are a great way to capture feedback from a working group. I like to sketch out connections, process inputs and outputs, pain points and moments of truth, and then get live feedback from the group on whether to depiction matches their perception. The business problems I have addressed are mapping the internal customer experience to get a common and seamless view across different functions and stages, mapping the customer requirements as a small business decided on the off-the-shelf software they needed to support their customer acquisition to deliver process and mapping a brand ecosystem including brand construct, product development pipeline, brand and sales funnel, marketing initiatives and brand personality.

Pros

  • Provides frames that can house the different aspects of a consumer / brand view
  • Allows a brand eco-system view that can be built on as the understanding of the consumer/ brand view develops
  • Integrates with zoom
  • Is relatively easy to use

Cons

  • I've just started the paid version and am missing some of the formatting and design components I'm used to from Power point (standardizing the size of each box, aligning and arranging rows, call out boxes where you can connect the tip to the data point you want to call out etc)
  • Miro has helped me visualize the connection between the way business is done and the impact on the customer experience, revenue and repeat purchase
As a solopreneur it was fairly simple
Works well with zoom - need to see how easy it is to bring data from other files and programs and store output files easily
Yes I have used it as a team member - not yet as a facilitator
