Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use it for designing wireframes and workflows for my new products. I also use it for planning with the rest of my team for sprint planning or general brainstorming. I previously used it for PI planning during the pandemic at a previous company. There were no other tools at the time that allowed us to collaborate in real-time. I also feel as if a lot of the tools that are used for sprint planning are complicated and distract people during meetings because they don’t know how to use them (I.e. Jira and Rally) so Miro is easy enough that the team can just throw sticky notes on the screen and they don’t need to worry about putting things in the right place in the other tracking tools we use.
Pros
- Gives templates to serve as a guide for planning and brainstorm sessions
- Allows everyone to collaborate on one visual
- Quick mock-up creation
Cons
- More shapes to use for mock-ups
- Improved productivity
Greatly. I use miro to put together the broad plan for a product as well as doing brainstorming sessions. It also helps level set with all different skill sets because there isn’t much of a learning curve to understand how to use the tool
