Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Currently use Miro for three main activities, all related to software development: Daily meetings - as a scrum/kanban progress board Retrospective meetings - so everyone can express what was done and felt through the sprint Example mapping - to document and brainstorm business requirements, rules and examples of future issues to be tackled so far, the tool is amazing, especially when working with remote teams from different places, as we can always just check it really quick to see what was done and how's everything going, it does help that it's really easy to use and intuitive.
  • Easy creation of boards.
  • Post-it interface is really easy to know what a card is for.
  • UX is really intuitive to use.
  • Maybe have some glossary to quick link some boards.
  • Some people had problems on word wrapping initially.
  • Had a few times people unlocking cards/boards accidentally.
  • Improved workflow speed by giving more visibility to the team members of the current status of the tasks.
  • Improved the quality of the tasks by having more rules and better-defined example mapping, as the team could quickly check it at any time.
  • Created opportunities for actionable tracking as every week we had it below our retrospective board.
The Slack of integration is really nice to have and easy to do.
Quite a lot, we do have other tools to use as well, but my team always used both physical and virtual boards, as when in the office, it was easier to just look or go to the whiteboard, but for those who didn't go because of a medical appointment or similar, the virtual was always there updated and easy to know, so Miro has been a blessing to know.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Overall it shines on group interaction, especially when working remotely, of course, it works really well if there's only one person working on it, but it will not be as amazing, at least from a few experiences I had before.
